Operating from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the establishment faithfully delivers authentic Hanoi flavours. Despite its spatial constraints, the restaurant consistently attracts a steady stream of patrons, resulting in lengthy queues stretching from one end of the alley to the other. The eatery's popularity is rooted in its embodiment of traditional Hanoian ambiance.
This establishment stretches across a slender alley, measuring approximately 1 meter in width and extending 30 meters in depth. As you step in, the culinary area greets you, featuring a table laden with ingredients, a barbecue grill, a dedicated section for frying spring rolls, and a compact iced tea shop.
Guests can conveniently park their vehicles on the opposite side of the road. The dining tables for patrons are strategically placed both indoors and in the petite courtyard located at the alley's conclusion. Each staff member fulfills a specific role in the preparation process, be it grilling the meat, assembling ingredients, or replenishing the dipping sauce.
As shared by the owner, Dao Thi Mai Lan (depicted in the image), the restaurant crafts hundreds of servings daily, starting from the morning until the food inventory is depleted. Leftovers are a rarity, and those arriving later in the day often find themselves leaving empty-handed.
