Chef and restaurateur Ben Bayly owns Auckland’s Ahi restaurant and part owns several other restaurants.

He is well known to Kiwi audiences as one of the hosts of My Kitchen Rules NZ, and currently fronts the TVNZ 1 show, A New Zealand Food Story season 2, where he gets out of the kitchen and visits the country’s farms, orchards, waters, markets, and artisan food suppliers.
