Newtown
Ante is a small sake bar located in Sydney's Newtown. The restaurant features over 60 varieties of sake, paired cleverly with a menu championing modern Asian flavours and techniques. The bar, heavily influenced by the original Jazzu Kissa (music cafe) in Japan, has a selection of vinyls spinning thoughout the course of the day and night.

"I've known Jemma for many years now, we were lucky enough to have her help us out at Three Blue Ducks back in the day. She was always going to open something incredible. Well, it's happened. Ante is in New Town, it's a Sake bar (with her partner Matt from Black Market Sake). Thoughtfully designed, a long bar with a record player at one end and a kitchen designed by a chef at the other. Order everything!"
