Bouchon La Meunière

In the middle of the peninsula in the 1st district of Lyon, very close to Place des Terreaux, there's a place called La Meunière.

For almost 100 years, they've been making delicious food in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The walls have old kitchen tools and paintings, and the tables have Lyon pots, checkered napkins, and wooden plates. It's a place filled with laughter and a great vibe - that's what La Meunière is all about! Chef Olivier Canal and his friend Annick Roman are happy to welcome groups, families, or friends to have a good time together. So, come on in and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of La Meunière, a Lyonnais bouchon that's been making people happy since 1921!

"Whenever I'm in Lyon I head straight to this rustic 100-year-old bouchon for chef Olivier Canal's generous serves of classics including andouillette, salade Lyonnaise, and quenelle de brochet. Food is unadorned, wine is in simple carafes and the atmosphere is pure Lyon. So good I've eaten here twice on a three day visit!"
