Born in Torre del Greco, Naples, Gino D’Acampo inherited his passion for cooking from his grandfather. After studying at Luigi De Medici catering college, he moved to London at age 18. With over 25 years in television, he appears regularly on ITV’s This Morning and hosts Gino’s Italy. He stars in Gordon, Gino, and Fred’s Ultimate Road Trip, now acquired by Netflix UKI, and has filmed five seasons across Europe and America. Gino has authored 20 cookbooks, including Gino’s Air Fryer Cookbook, a Sunday Times Best Seller. He co-owns Bontà Italia, one of the UK’s top Italian food distributors, and launched Gino Pizza Ovens. He presents Family Fortunes and appears in Disney’s + Luca. In 2021, he launched a growing Retail Range with ASDA. Gino owns 7 UK restaurants and will expand internationally in June 2025 with a new site in Malta.
